MPA has become a leading supplier of Agenda for Change support for NHS organisations such as the Strategic Health Authorities, Health Protection Agency, Connecting For Health, Leeds Teaching Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Agenda for Change Panel Support
We have a bank of accredited panellists, both management and staff side that can take part in matching, analysis, evaluation and appeal panel work. Our panellists are all accredited and based around the UK. We can supply panels at 24hrs notice.

MPA's pool of nationally accredited trainers are currently running the following Agenda For Change courses both publicly and in-house on request across the UK:

Detailed Awareness - Half Day Course
Designed to raise awareness in the areas of job evaluation, job analysis and job matching. It includes three exercises and covers partnership working, diversity, perception, pay equality, the NHS job evaluation scheme, the matching procedure and the local evaluation procedure.

Job Matching - 2 Day Course
Objectives: To know how to match jobs to national profiles, to be able to explain the principles of equality and equal pay in job evaluation, to be able to work as part of a panel and to know how to complete the appropriate job matching documentation.

Job Analysis and Evaluation - 2 Day Course
Objectives: To know how to analyse and evaluate jobs, to be able to work with a partner, to know how bias can occur in job analysis and evaluation and to know how to complete the appropriate documentation.

Job Evaluation Refresher - 1 Day Course
One day fresher course of job evaluation.

Conversion Course - 1 Day Course

Knowledge and Skills Framework Refresher Course - 1 Day Course
We are running a series of 1 day refresher courses for those people who have already attended a 2 day KSF Training Programme. The course will revisit:

* developing KSF outlines
* establishing Gateway points
* implementing KSF systems

Job Descriptions for Agenda For Change - 1 Day Course
This course is designed to help managers produce Job descriptions and Personnel Specifications that meet the requirements of the Agenda for change matching process. The course will cover:

* The structure and content of effective Job Descriptions and Personnel Specifications
* Familiarisation with the JES Factor Plan
* What information needs to be included to enable Job Matching panels make accurate and appropriate decisions.
