General mentoring skills

This workshop aims to enable participants to recognise and develop mentoring skills, with a view to improving their own performance and enhancing the benefits of a mentoring programme, both to mentees and their sponsoring companies.

 
Core Objectives

•     To develop mentoring skills
•     To communicate the benefits of mentoring to candidates
•     To raise awareness of the characteristics of mentors
•     To develop coaching skills and active listening abilities

Methodology

•     One day course
•     Group discussions
•     Brainstorming activities
•     Completion of an individual learning styles questionnaire and analysis/feedback
